About Me

My photo
Delta, British Columbia, Canada
I took very early retirement from teaching in '06 and did some traveling in Europe and the UK before settling down to do some private tutoring. As a voracious reader, I have many books waiting in line for me to read. Tell me I shouldn't read something, and I will. I'm a happy, optimistic person and I love to travel and through that believe that life can be a continuous learning experience. I'm looking forward to traveling more some day. I enjoy walking, cycling, water aerobics & and sports like tennis, volleyball, and fastpitch/baseball. I'm just getting into photography as a hobby and I'm enjoying learning all the bits and bobs of my digital camera. My family is everything to me and I'm delighted to be the mother of two girls and the Gramma of a boy and a girl. I may be a Gramma, but I'm at heart just a girl who wants to have fun.

Aww Leslie this is unbelievable!!

I am so ROTFLMAO, tears of laughter...accessed that page and second go it played really well....Do you guys realise how much fun this is going be...you sound fantastic, I am still laughing so much.

The Canada Goose is a great idea!!
I don't know how you've done this but it's just FANTASTIC...Great accent, great voice, Gretchen the Goose! The Quarks are so going to be the highlight...I caught up with my screenplay partner, she thinks it's a fantastic idea (Quarks), hasn't heard anything, she has gone to Tassie for meetings all week...

I can't get over this, it's just so funny, this is going to be so much fun....Happy Feet eat your heart out!

Leslie how did you not burst into laughter, I would be gone for all money...I am going to have to keep away from you doing voices I can see, I just can't stop laughing about them...actually the Robin Williams's of the world show great composure...how do you keep your composure Leslie? What is the secret to this?? Are you stomping on one toe with the other foot or something?

Great stuff, thankyou so much, too funny.

Pam.

The female star of the script is a little maltese terrier, "Gracie"...a marine biologist from California, Sailor, the male star will have an Aussie accent, I reckon the more accents the better, just a great melting pot of fun! We also have some Japanese tourists....this should be a universal story..

Leslie, this is just wonderful. I played it for the folks at work. I'm so glad Pam loves it too.

(I love being the swan. I like the fact that I can get a little cranky... ha!)

Great! Glad you liked it Pam and it sounds like it'll be a blast doing it. I don't know how we'll manage if we're all together trying to stay "in character" but I'm sure it'll be fun trying. :D

Happy you enjoyed it, too, Ms Swan. ;D

See what happens when you turn glum into creative?
Pam is right. You could be the Canada Goose.

Cute idea.
We used to go to Ontario to a place called Jack Minor's Bird Sanctuary. In the seventies it was the 2nd most visited place in Canada (Niagra Falls being first). It is quite a place-- millions of Canada Geese stop there every year.

Sorry for not responding sooner, guys, but I've been offline as my modem crashed. But...I'm back now and glad you like the Canada goose idea. :D

Great stuff Leslie. Today at Granville Island I saw a pair of geese with one tiny fluffy yellow gosling. We wondered what had happened to the rest.
Thanks for visiting, I know I've been here before.

That is wonderful! FYI, the geese have been all over here at our house. Currently there are 9 on a daily basis. There is one in particular that scares me. It "honks", squaks and screams at me everytime I walk up to the road to get the mail. It yells at the other geese as well! Must be the "master!"
