This is the book I bought while in Arizona last February. I read it to my Grade 4 class as an example of a take-off on "The Three Little Pigs" and the kids loved it. I highly recommend it as a great story as well as an educational insight into animals living in their own habitat.
thanks leslie. i'm going to buy it to have for my grandchildren when they come over to visit me.

I've never even heard of a javelina until you and Dale mentioned it on Frannie's blog. Kinda cute and kinda ugly...reminds me of the warthog in the Lion King "Hakuna Matata"
ReplyDeleteHakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It's our problem-free philosophy
Hakuna Matata!
hugs from Willy :)
A teacher's work is never done!! LOL. I had to chuckle..on vacation and still thinking of your students. Great book, I have not read it, but will look for it the next time I am in the bookstore. The bunny caught my eye..and I always try to give gifts and or cards that have bunnies on them.
