I changed this photo into black and white and then played around with tints until I found what I liked. Hope you like it, too. The original photo is below.
Leslie, you are a fabulous photographer. The original photo is exquisite. The altered one - not so much. I have seen your photographs, and believe me, there is no way you could ever improve on them by fooling around with PhotoShop. Your original photos knock the altered photos out of the water.
Leslie, the original is a nice photo however, the edited version is very creative. I'm amazed how the edit produced what appears to be a different light source. The green version looks as if the subject is slightly translucent and there a light behind. Clever effect.
Gee thanks everyone - even you, Josie! lol Like Dale mentions, I liked how the green made the flower look translucent and like there's a light behind it. I also liked how the petals are outlined in a sort of smoky look.
But, yes Josie, I do like the originals, too! *grin*
Totally different colors and it still looks good! :) Nice edits

Very nice. It is so much fun playing around with tints and shades; and the results are often more funner!

ReplyDeleteI've never seen a flower in emerald neon. But I like it. Although the original flower is merely pretty, the altered one is striking...
