So, how did you do? I think you all probably thought this was quite easy, right? I could have made it harder for you all by using words like quag, quiff, quire, or quoit but it's so much more fun to get an A+ on a quiz!

  10. I laughed when I saw "quash" as it brought back some memories.

    In the legal world you sometimes file a Motion to Quash (which is just fancy for asking a judge not to permit something or other or to throw something out). An example would be a Motion to Quash a Supbonea. (I had a major case one time when someone tried to subponea the Governor of our state as a witness!)

    Often clients would ask "why are you trying to squash that?" which I sort of like better than "quash"! Heh!
