On Saturday, we took advantage of the balmy, sunny weather and took a stroll down along the river in Deas Park. Here's one of the shots I took that I turned it into black and white. Be sure to click on the photo to enlarge it.
Keep an eye out for ABC Wednesday this week when I will be posting a colour slide show of our visit to the park.
MM is hosted by Aileni and you can contribute and/or see other contributions here.
I think it must be Fall.
ReplyDeleteSomehow the use of monochrome here enhanced the feeling of sadness that one often gets in the autumn.
ReplyDeleteI like that so much in monochrome.
ReplyDeleteIt has a charm of its own in monochrome.
ReplyDeleteCharming ..
ReplyDeleteB&w sometimes is better than colored ones! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteKisses from Nydia.
Deas Park? Now that's somewhere I've never visited.
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time ....!
DAVID!!! Oh my gosh, thanks for popping by and sorry I missed you. Deas Park is near the Massey (formerly Deas) Tunnel that takes you to the Victoria ferries. I was there trying to recapture a shot I got a couple of years ago of rowers on the tributary of the Fraser River when it was a gorgeous, sunny day and the tress were resplendent in their fall glory, reflecting in the water. But...no luck - no rowers and I was a bit too late for the colours. COME BACK ANYTIME!
ReplyDeleteThe fallen leaves on the ground is looking good in monochrome :)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that works well, doesn't it? Well spotted!
ReplyDeleteI had to enlarge this so I could see all of the detail. Fabulous.
