Since I did Vancouver for the ABCW home page, I thought I'd just show you a few of my favourite photos of places I've been in the world. Of course, I've included a few from my own village, too! I wanted to show you more shots of France and Italy, but I didn't have a very good camera when I was there (not a digital) so you'll have to make do with one shot of Giverny (in the rain) and one of Portovenere along the Cinque Terre in Italy. The slideshow is set to the music "Epic Journey."
Very great thanks to the vivacious Mrs. Nesbitt, the creator of ABC Wednesday, and to the virtuous Roger, our administrator. Also, thanks to the valiant team of helpers who visit all the posts to give valuable feedback to our contributors.

Beautiful views Leslie, we did have a lovely day on the Yorkshire moors didn't we ?.xxx
Thanks for noting you did the intro. I'll put in the Linky forthwith. Or with forth. Or something like that.
Hi Leslie , I love the Bow Church underground photo and the photos of the Light park (I think it is called). I have not been up to many of the places you have , you love Britain :-) xox
I recall many of your UK photos, but I've never seen the Bow Church station. It's very unusual for an underground station. Very colourful and creative too. Thanks for your visit. Have a great week.
Wil, ABCW Team.
Wonderful slideshow. Looks like a sequence of paintings to me.
I agree with Carver. the slideshow does look like a series of beautiful paintings.
You outdid yourself on this post.
Love all the photos.
Awesome slideshow. The photos of your village make me want to visit. I have been to Seattle a few times but that is as close as I have been.
An Arkies Musings
I look forward each week to your videos, Leslie, and this is certainly the tops!
stunning VIEWS, Leslie! they make me wish that I'd planned more prudently for my golden years. these would fit well for Rebecca's Postcards from Paradise meme!
Some beautiful views there.
I had to peer closely to discern that these were not paintings, but photos. I've been to several of the same places and viewing them this way was like a glorious re-visit to the gallery of my memories.
vee you tee ful!!!!
Nice colors, I like these impressive photos of beautiful cities!
Wonderful paintings and photos! -- especially those of Yorkshire, (I'm a little biased :) )
I do love those UK photos! Beautiful and so cheery to see.
Monet's Garden sent me off to Dreamland. I love the reflections on the water, the red houses so beautiful.
I also thought they were paintings. I miss the Yorkshire Moors.
Lovely views. I Vie for these places now :)

Leslie, your village is so beautiful, don't we have a splendid world to live in? Beauty at every turn. Loved all the pictures.

All beautiful Views!!
Love the colourful buildings in Italy. I've always liked lots of colour around me. Plus, I enjoyed your Vancouver post on the main page. We pass through all the time, but don't stop that often. - Margy
There's some strangely coloured skys on some of those photos.
I think colours on non digital are more vibrant. Lovely journey both home and away. Next time I'm in London I must make a trip to Bow Church station having seen your photo.
Your slideshow was riveting. But for my money the Vancouver photos are all that and more.
All so beautiful!!
The Church Christ Gardens photo is picture perfect. It's something I'd like to print out and make into a cross-stitch project. :D beautiful photos, all of them.
What a beautiful slideshow and such good memories for you to see all these places again. I so much regret that digital cameras didn't exist when we travelled through the USA in the 80/90th for several years. Fortunately I have the videos !
Very impressive slide show, thank you for sharing. Makes me want to visit and be in all those places at the same time!
Gosh, it was certainly worthwhile to spend a few minutes looking at your beautiful photo slideshow. Enjoyed the UK ones particularly (you have given me some ideas of places to visit). Nicely done and Thank you!
What a wonderful array of beautiful photos! You have been privileged to travel (and photograph) such diverse country! Thank you for sharing!
