About Me

My photo
Delta, British Columbia, Canada
I took very early retirement from teaching in '06 and did some traveling in Europe and the UK before settling down to do some private tutoring. As a voracious reader, I have many books waiting in line for me to read. Tell me I shouldn't read something, and I will. I'm a happy, optimistic person and I love to travel and through that believe that life can be a continuous learning experience. I'm looking forward to traveling more some day. I enjoy walking, cycling, water aerobics & and sports like tennis, volleyball, and fastpitch/baseball. I'm just getting into photography as a hobby and I'm enjoying learning all the bits and bobs of my digital camera. My family is everything to me and I'm delighted to be the mother of two girls and the Gramma of a boy and a girl. I may be a Gramma, but I'm at heart just a girl who wants to have fun.

T is for TEGAN...nope, just TEASING!

I think that's enough of Tegan for a while, don't you?  Let's take another train of thought and go with spring tulips, trees, trains, tractors, tall ships, etc.  I've gone through my photos and have selected a few to make up a terrifically attractive (I hope you agree) slideshow for this week.  The music is from "Beauty and the Beast." Make sure you watch to the end to see my little "Beauty" toasting you with tea.

Let's talk it up for ABC Wednesday, our tireless creator, Mrs. Nesbitt, and our topnotch administrator Roger. Also, great thanks to the tremendous team of helpers who trot over to your posts for a taste of your weekly tidings.  Have a terrific week, everyone!

I agree, thought for sure we'd be reading about Tegan. And as much as I love your posts that playful pup, I love being surprised!

Have a great week!

Variety does make the spice of life...even if Tegan wasn't featured.

ahh...such perfection in the lovely tea time with Eden! I'm looking forward to start having tea parties with my great-granddaughter.
loved the trail of 't' words. loved the steam train, especially its color. only cabooses were red here, but I haven't seen one on a track in a coon's age!

Skagit had their tulip festival in April. Blooms came a bit late this year, but the fields were as lovely as ever. - Margy

I like tulips, and I don't like teasing, sometimes kids like to tease.
