(In Napoli where love is king
When boy meets girl here's what they say)
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita Bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fagiole
That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
You're in love
When you walk in a dream but you know you're not
Dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
That's amore
When the moon hits you eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore(That's amore)
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore(That's amore)
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella(Lucky fella)
When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fagiole
That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
You're in love
When you walk in a dream but you know you're not
Dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
That's amore(Amore)
That's amore
This is also an appropriate song because mi amore has promised me two weeks in Tuscany! (okay, I know Naples isn't in Tuscany, but it's close enough...) And where else could one possibly celebrate the lives of two people who are so in love but in romantic Italia!

Ah one of my all time fave songs.
Tuscany is a lovely place. had a brilliant holiday there a few years ago.
Amore, amore...... soak it up. You deserve it!
A beautiful song you can't fail to smile at when you here. Apologises for Linky still be naughty.
Deano, Frankie, Sammy,Sara, Ella,Bobby...the list goes on and on. Great song for lovers...enjoy.
'Amore' you so deserve. I still get big smiles and a happy feeling every time I read another post from Leslie about your wonderful love with Lorne.
Go over the Tuscany and explore a bit, sit back and relax a bit, eat and drink more than a bit, then explore and/or relax some more.

Oh, how lovely! Congratulations!
Your rose looks like my 'Beautiful James' rose, which I had named for my beloved first greyhound!
Where would we be without a bit of Amore?
Lovely happy post, - so pleased for you!
I am in love with that rose. So pretty.
I am happy for you that you found love!!!
Yes the toilet experiens can be like you told it, MB
Oh Leslie, your happiness simply SHINES through every word. It makes my heart smile to visit with you.. your joy is contagious!
Well, from Tuscany to Verona might be less of a stretch. And Verona was made famous by the famous couple Romeo and Juliet!
Have a great holiday
Great song...congrats to you and your love....your happiness is in your posting! My Dad used to sing this song and I love it.
Love is great and I'm so, so happy for you. Now, about the pizza. . .
Ahh! No wonder you want to spend the gray days of Delta in Italy!
You know Delta is very beautiful and has wonderful temps compared to the rest of Canada - you know that!
However - I'm with you girl. I truly am.
A man who asked me to marry him on the same day as another got on a train to come across Canada and live with me - he came from Trieste. I have always said I would love to go to Trieste so that I/we could lay flowers anywhere in honour of Cid. Because I/we miss him and feel it is something I/we should do.
As for the rest of Italy - it beckons - not as much as New Orleans now beckons - but it comes in a very close second.
Follow your dreams girl. Follow them with a smile on your face and joy in your heart. Tuck the trepidation behind your ear and go for it.
When I was a kid I had the Dean Martin 45 single of "That's Amore"
An Arkies Musings
I always liked that song - but I think I might be too old for love. Darn. Beautiful rose, too!
I love that song!
It's a great song and no one sings it like Dino! Totally agree - the only place to go for your honeymoon!
I can hear Dean Martin singing this song in my head:) A great choice for A, and congratulations on your plans--Tuscany sounds heavenly! And a man who plants roses for you...well, you just can't ask for more!
Absolutely nothing like the crooning voice of Dean Martin! Great choice!
Amore....perfect for beginning round 5! Amore....ahhhh...we are never too old for love! Beautiful rose. I am so happy for you!

That is interesting. We have a Spanish Head with many varied reason why. Always adored this song too.
