I had to go through my photo albums to see if I could find something appropriate for this week's theme. I finally found the following photo of a family of elephants that I took years ago at the San Diego Animal Park.

As a voracious reader, I have many books waiting in line for me to read. Tell me I shouldn't read something, and I will. I enjoy walking, cycling, water aerobics & and sports like tennis, volleyball, and fastpitch/baseball. I'm just getting into photography as a hobby and I'm enjoying learning all the bits and bobs of my digital camera. My family is everything to me and I'm delighted to be the mother of two girls and the Gramma of a boy and a girl. I may be a Gramma, but I'm at heart just a girl who wants to have fun.

Great heavy beasts. I just read a delightful book called "Water for Elephants". Circus story with a wonderful elephant who is a composite of several real circus elephants.

I went through the San Diego Zoo many years ago when I was 18 and in Navy boot camp.
Don't recall much about it though, but I didn't want to go to the sleaze joints with the others.
I used to be bashful and quite. LOL
