Ah, that's better. Since I've become much more vigilant about my health (diet and exercise) I have breakfast every day. Sometimes, it's cereal with a bit of fruit and I mix it all up with 1/2 cup of fruit-flavoured yoghurt. I don't like milk on cereal so this is how I get my calcium. It's actually like eating dessert! Try it! Other days I might have a muffin with yoghurt and fruit or like today, scrambled eggs. Except they aren't real eggs but Eggbeaters because I can digest them better.
They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so whatever you do, don't rush out the door to work or school without a healthy breakfast. Think of yourself like a car - you need fuel to run. Your brain will work better and you can control cravings so you'll maintain or even lose weight if you need to. I hope your breakfast was good. I have put my husband on eggbeaters with his cholesterol problem. I eat them with him to show him I can stand by my man. ;)
Breakfast is so important! Yours looks tasty.
I enjoy a good breakfast, and yours does look good!!
I'm a fan of eggs, but I must say that my breakfast usually consists of Corn Flakes with semi-skimmed milk, orange juice and a fruit-yoghurt.
When I'm in the UK on the other hand, things tend to get a little different... :-)
Thank you for a nice comment!
Hi and welcome to ABC Wednesday. Breakfast was a great choice for B. Its fun to see what everyone chooses for their letter.
Nothing better than scrambled eggs, Leslie!
Allow me to put out the red carpet for you as a welcome to Mrs Nesbitt's wonderful ABC Wednesday ....
Nothing wrong with a good hearty breakfast, by the way I see you are from BC, go back to my blog if you have time, there are pics of BC and Alaska, I was there last year. Look for a link for Flickr then check my hol photos of your beautiful country
Breakfast - my favorite meal and a very important one too. Nice picture.
Those scrambled eggs look good, Leslie. Are egg beaters better than eggs? What's the difference?
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.
My breakfast is two slices of bread and a glass of orange juice. I like your scrambled eggs
I do eat breakfast, but it is cereal or a slimfast. I have switched from coffee to green tea. Now we only make coffee on the weekends. Now if I could just give up sweets! :)
Looks great and the other sound really good! Welcome to ABC - I have added you to my blogroll.
Now that's a nice way to break your fast .. :)
Your breakfast lokked good:)
Great B!
Thanks for your nice comment:)
breakfast is about bran flakes for me but the scrambled egg does look appetising I must say
maria
My husband got sick of eggbeaters and I couldn't eat them myself but I love oatmeal for b'fast.
By the way, I made my own with egg whites and a drop of yellow food coloring and a little powdered milk. He said he couldn't tell the difference in mine and the store bought ones.
I don't do a lot of cow's milk for various reasons, but goat milk is actually very good.I prefer it on my cereal to moo juice.
These days I have found a brand of soy beverage that I am currently using on my cereal..... been thru' the gamut the past 20 years trying to find a brand I like that doesn't cost the moon, nor have a zillion calories in added sugar.
Its PC Biological original fortified soy beverage. I can't remember if you have Loblaws out your way.
Oh yeah..my morning weekday brekkie is Kashi crunch and I add a 1/3 banana and recently blueberries, plus my soy beverage
Hi Leslie,
How do I rotate the picture on my posting? I am so clueless. Some day being blonde is just not a good enough excuse. ;-}
I am planning to do several beach days in a row now. It's going to be in the low 80's and sunny. Just my kind of days.
Have a great day. And keep up the good work on your diet and exercise.
Us explorers know how important a good breakfast is!
Nice to meet you
Edmund (the explorer) Nesbitt
I have just posted my ABC picture!
PS We are not far from Bronte Country!
I've always been Big on having a good breakfast. This looks good.

Good choise for the B. :)
I have just filled up some fuel (breakfast). Drinking coffee now while blogging. Have a nice day! :)
Very sensible post Leslie. I always have a sensible breakfast too, except I don't do coffee any more.
Breakfast has always been something I have put off till I'm older and wiser and in need of it.
I think the time has come.
Great B post with a great message.
Happy wednesday
What a nice breakfast - best meal of the day!
I'll take a coffee please. Good one.
Good B idea. I always eat breakfast. My favorite is pancakes. :-)
Hi Leslie, I always have breakfast, didn;t used to though, and especially now with working.
Special K, or Optivita, and toast.
Porridge with fruit - blueberries
.
Eggs - scrambled, poached with toast, maybe a grilled tomato.
Thanks for all the comments, everyone. It's great to hear from you. FYI, I only drink decaffinated coffee and tea for sleep purposes. Unless in Italy, of course, and then I go for the real cappuccinos! ;D
I enjoyed your thoughts about the importance of breakfast.
I confess I don't eat breakfast - now the secret is out! I have coffee in the morning. However, I DO make two sandwiches every day for lunch.
The rest of the story is that I eat those two sandwiches the moment I get to work around 6:30 or so in the morning. Maybe that constitutes breakfast...!
On weekends, well, that is a different story! Pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast - the works!!!
Take care.
I would be nowhere without breakfast!
That's my kind of breakfast - nice and simple - with a good dose of caffeine. Thanks for visiting me and my apologies for taking so long to return the visit.
Oh, I do miss a British breakfast!
